EXPERIENCE – USER GUIDE
The opinion of athletes in a process of dialogue, research and innovation on technical clothing, tested in the various regattas in all kinds of sea and wind conditions.
LAYER SYSTEM

The importance of wearing layers
A - BASE LAYER: this is the one directly in contact with the skin and therefore needs to offer the best performance in terms of comfort, lightness, and breathability. It must also guarantee an optimal physiological balance and prevent the proliferation of bacteria and the formation of allergies and dermatitis.
B - MIDDLE LAYER: this is the layer that must prevent the body from getting too hot or too cold, but also allow maximum freedom of movement. The weight and thickness of this layer may vary based on the external temperature.
C - OUTER LAYER: This layer must prevent the wind and rain from coming into contact with the inner layers and therefore with the body. The materials are waterproof and Windstopper and, thanks to the technical membranes, also highly breathable. The use of heat-sealed stitching and laminated zips contributes to making the garment totally waterproof.

CLOTHING SYSTEMS BASED ON TEMPERATURE
Clothing systems have been designed for hot and dry, hot and humid, cold and dry and cold and humid, for a competition and a cruise, for the various conditions at sea, but also for city life in certain situations that require high-performance clothing (cycling, gym, running, etc.) or for outdoor activities (mountains, hiking, etc.). This is what the solution is based on: due to the salt, wind and variable weather conditions in general, the sea is about as aggressive as it gets, and therefore the perfect environment for in-depth testing of the materials. The 125 articles in the collection do, in fact, offer up to 1,000 possible combinations to optimise the clothing of an athlete or sailor facing the entire range of weather conditions. The guiding principle of rationalisation was the search for simplicity and substance, because anything that is not essential has to go.

CLOTHING SYSTEMS BASED ON USE
This is a graphic representation of the recommended clothing systems based on the type of use and the category of boat. These clothing systems have been designed not only based on temperature but, most importantly, on use: for a competition and a cruise and for the various conditions at sea, where wearing high-performance clothing makes all the difference. Due to the salt, wind, and variable weather conditions in general, the sea is, in fact, about as aggressive as it gets, and therefore the perfect environment for in-depth testing of the materials. The 125 articles in the collection do, in fact, offer up to 1,000 possible combinations to optimize the clothing of an athlete or sailor facing the entire range of weather conditions.
